Establishment of The Corner Office
I've made a major new addition to this site. Here's the text of the first announcement from The Corner Office.
Hello, and welcome to the Corner Office. I hope you'll find this to be a useful and enjoyable resource for info on all aspects of continuous improvement. My goal is to form a vibrant community dedicated to research and learning in the areas of problem-solving, accident investigation, root cause analysis, human performance, process improvement, etc.
If you know me from the Root Cause Live discussion forum, you might be wondering why I've set up this bulletin board. First off, let me assure you that I'm not trying to compete with Root Cause Live. That forum has a vibrant, interesting community that I plan to continue participating in. However, because that forum is primarily email based, I find that I have difficulty following (and keeping my place in) some of the discussions. I'm hoping this primarily web-based format will be easier for me (and others?) to use.
If you're a reader of my blog Common Blogarithms, rest assured that I will continue to write new material... of course, whether you want me to is another matter! If you're just a casual visitor to my website, thanks for stopping by... and feel free to stick around!
My goal with this forum is to form a participative community, not to publish my own material... that's what my blog is for. I will moderate the forum, and work to build the community, but will not seek to dominate it. This forum is for everyone, not just me.
